Who is Wink's anyways?
Wink’s Drive-In was founded by Charles and Aggie “Wink” Fowler in 1984.
The first Winks Drive-In was located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The restaurant
was a huge hit with Chuck’s fresh stamped hamburgers and Aggie’s
famous coney sauce. The car shows expanded and Wink’s Drive-In moved to
Austin Plaza in Barberton, Ohio in 1991. Purple neon lights and live
entertainment fueled more intense car shows and attracted people from
all over the country. Car shows became a legendary tradition for cruisers.
